1969 Corvette Convertible, 350 cu in 4 bolt main 4-speed, original Lemans Blue car with bright blue vinyl interior. Power steering, power brake, tilt telescoping steering column, cooling system with electric fan added. Paint is show quality; trim tag paint Code #976 Lemans Blue, Interior Code 411 – Bright Blue Vinyl. The factory 8” rims were blasted and correctly repainted correct color outside and black inside with silver overspray and have Goodyear radials installed. The wheel trim rings and center caps appear as new. The body panel gaps and fits are very good. All the door hinges and springs are good and tight. Doors close and fit as they should. Locks work fine and match the ignition. All the chrome is very nice, straight, emblems nice, optional vent louver trim is excellent. The trim around grills appears new. New license bezel. Tail lamp lenses are nice and shiny and bright. Front grills and spoiler are fine. Door glass on both sides is original and both are in good shape. The windshield frame is excellent and shows no evidence of rust or repairs. New exhaust tips and bezels. The spare tire tub has been refinished and painted. Recent frame-on restored car. Excellent frame, no rust or repairs. Most of it repainted, body never off. Rear suspension also has new rod, new SS brake system. Has M-20 Muncie trans—shifter nice and tight. Trans and rear package, combo is excellent for performance and cruises as lower RPM on highway for a real nice ride. But then when performance is wanted, wow. Going through the gears it’s a blast, seems to never stop pulling, and hard. Trans was rebuilt in 2005. It operates smoothly and quietly. Clutch operates smoothly without any chatter. 350 horsepower, 350 motor, rebuilt in 2004. New when trans was rebuilt. Nice healthy cam, sounds and runs like it should. Has correct restored/rebuilt Quadrajet carburetor. Excellent original valve covers, original distributor with correct original tag has been rebuilt using correct shaft and vacuum advance unit. All shielding is in place and looks new. The radiator hoses being correct repro. New radiator cap. The tilt telescoping column appears as new, was restored and painted. Correct exhaust manifolds are in place. The entire system fits well. Power steering system is original. Master cylinder is new. The booster appears as original. Both systems operate well. This car has tooling system only with electric fan system. Original radiator support and all lower bracing are original and in excellent condition; no damage or rust ever. Original radiator restored, nice undamaged shroud, fan clutch, original fan, engine and engine compartment. New wiper door actuator and valve and wiper arm at rest valve under wiper. The wiper door system works well. Appears as original headlamp actuators but were painted black. Headlights pop up and down fine. The white soft top frame is excellent, nice and tight, operates smoothly. No rust. Latches work fine. It fits the car very well. All weather stripping is excellent, with the top being white. Interior – Carpets have been replaced seats have been redone, original backs—no headrests. Console and park brake console replaced. Shifter handle good and heater control head good. Gauges appear original and are nice and bright. Radio is original. Clock is working. Gauge center housing is either new or refinished—looks great and fits well. Odometer shows 89,200 miles and is working. Top dash pad was re-sprayed. Steering column appears as restored and repainted. Has a new battery. Has its original jack. The glove and battery boxes are fine and originals. Car looks, runs and rides excellent. Everything works well.
