I am a NCRS judge and a Body Shop owner, georgescollision.net working on these cars for last 40 years. This car has a super nice frame, no rust, still original black paint, light monitors, clock, key buzzer, still work. Car has been kept inside for many years, door jambs, cowl, windsheild posts no rust. Paint in door jambs super nice. Interior is in good condition. Drivers seat has some tears, passenger seat looks great no tears. Door panels are nice for age, some splits, they look like they have never been removed from the doors. Back body looks super nice. Car was striped and repaint many years ago. Paint is peeling and blistering because of lacquer primer break down. Car needs to be striped. Only one paint job on car. The nose is another story. It was replaced with an aftermarket nose. Problem is the bonding material did not hold to well when the car had a small accident to the left front. The bond at the cowl let go. Nose needs to be rebonded or replace with oem nose. Comes with oem hood and wiper door assy. If your looking for an unmolested soild rust free car to restore, this is the one. 1970 only produce 10,668 coupes 6,648 convertibles 6,659 had A/C. Color code is 993 Corvette bronze, code 400 black vinyl interior. If car doesn't sell I would consider pulling the motor and selling body only. Car runs and drives very tight and fast. 140 mph is no problem. Call me with any questions 518-466-7760 thanks George. Price: US $12,900.00 |
