Very nice car, original paint, paint is faded through in areas, and the car will have to be repainted, (it has never been repainted and is original) no cracks or collision damage, car never wrecked, the glove compartment owner’s manual is there, all the gages work (even the clock), AC is low and needs a charge but cycles (it is the original R-12 system and is all there and connected), rear end is great no problems with the axle or wheel/spindle bearings (a common problem with used Vette’s), cruise control works great, it has the Gymkhana Rear Suspension and there were only about 12,000 total made with this suspension even fewer with the L-82 engine and fewer yet with the two tone silver paint. I went through the headlights and it has new bushing, actuators and one valves all original vacuum hoses, works great no problems. It has the original GM issue Halogen bulbs on the high beams, these bulbs are impossible to find and when you do they are about $250.00 each. The really nice thing about this car is it is all there, it will take very little work to bring it back to 100%, spark plug harness, breather, number matching everything, jack, spare tire. Very nice stereo system, it was about $600.00+ for the unit plus the cost to install. Has KYB Shocks all around, Very nice tires, (all match), new center caps and lug nuts, no curb rash on rims, brakes are great, mechanically the car is great, I consider it a be a 9.85 out of 10, the body is great except the paint job, no damage, would be 8 out of 10, paint and it will be a 10. No cracks, chips or dings in the windshield, power windows work great, new battery, engine and transmission were brought back to original specifications, only a few thousand miles since the rework, runs great!!! This is an original survivor, it has the L-82 V8 engine, TH350 Trans, Oyster interior and is very nice. It will need to be repainted to look perfect, but this car is a real keeper for the right person. Originally a California car and currently in Texas. I bought it from the daughter of the original owner. When I got it there were a few items that needed attention. I replaced the seat covers (new 100% leather), the dash lenses, headlight actuators, lug nuts, center caps, and anything that wasn't numbers matching, new true dual exhaust from the manifolds back (OEM style), Engine and Transmission rebuilt, new battery, windshield is perfect (no chip or pecks). This is a true numbers matching car, engine, transmission, carb, distributor, alternator, etc. The radio has beed upgraded to a new Kenwood unit with matching Kenwood front and rear speakers and a geardrive high torque starter. Everything else is original. There are a few things that will need to be tweeked, but thats part of the fun and making it your own. The underside of this car is great, no rust or damage, drives perfect, tires are 98%, no curb rash on the rims, a very nice car for you to put the finishing touches on.
