| 1969 Matching Numbers 427 Corvette. I have owned this car four (4) years and regretfully have to sell due to financial trouble. I will try to describe the car as best I can. The following has been completed in the restoration project: The engine was machined and assembled by a prominent engine builder with all receipts and dyno sheets. The engine has a roller valvetrain but can be brought back to original very easily. I installed a roller assembly for reliability purposes because I planned on driving the car regularly. I kept the block, heads, and compression ratio stock. I have approximately $6000 in the engine refurbishment and $20,000 total in the car so far. The frame and suspension are 90% complete I have all the new parts to complete the suspension (half shafts, shocks, etc). All bumpers and other brackets have been blasted and coated. I have not started on the body or the interior. The original body color is lemans blue with blue interior. 101,000 miles. December 15, 2009. |
