I would call this car a rat but an interesting one. It has the 350 horse 327 with a 4 speed. The engine number matches the car. This is a running driveable car. It needs an interior and a paint job. I have replaced the aluminum radiator with a brand new brass one and there are no cooling problem. It has an Eckler style after market front end on it with fixed headlights and rear fender flares that cover 11" tires. I have owned it since 1989 and it has never been out in the winter or driven in the rain in that time. The windshield wiper door does not go up [actuator] and I just unplugged the wipers as I never used them. The convertible top and rear window are in good shape. The glass top is also in good shape and brown to match the car. The only time I've had it on the car was when I drove it home from Iowa where I bought it. The radio is one someone plugged in and it is junk. I am sure you could drive the car home but the tires are the same ones that were on the car when I bought it so not sure how far I'd want to go on them. I ran it but never drove it last year and the battery died in the fall so it will come with a new battery. June 23, 2009.
