| Posted 07/15/2019 1978 25th Anniversary with the L-82 engine. The car needs work that I do not have time for. It was running two years ago but the brakes did not work. I have finally come to the realization that I am not gonna have time to work on it and fix it up. To my knowledge everything is original, I have actually owned it since 2005 and from my understanding there were two other owners before me. Here is more information, I bought it in 2005 drove it around and tweaked it here and there. It started to have brake problems in 2010 and began working on it and had it going in 2013 and it ran and drove fine. I then repaired a few brake calipers and had it running again and just did not have time for it any more. It was garage kept up until about 3 or 4 years ago and then just have not had time for it. Needed to make room for my boat and its been on that dolly for about a year or longer right where it is now. The car ran at that time, it may have a rubber gas line that has a hole in it. The engine turns over and with priming, it did crank up a few months ago. |
