Same owner for 30 years (NDLR: LOOOL). Kept in climate controlled storage, Has 1/2 in tear in top near rear glass, Has a few nicks. This is a strong 7 car on a 10 scale. Runs great and strong. No hard top with car. Sold for $47,500 on May 16, 2017. 2) L71 427/435 3X2 WITH 4 SPEED MANUAL. ORIG ORDER SHEET FROM GM. MATCHING NUMBERS. SAME OWNER LAST 30 YEARS. CORRECT PAINT COLOR AND INTERIOR. BiN $42,900 (Ended because no longer available) on February 24 and idem on March 9, 12 and 16, 2017. 1) Regret it but looking to sell my 1968 Corvette 427 435 hp tri-power (Three 2 barrel carbs) four-speed convertible. This is a true L71 matching numbers motor and transmission. Car underwent a frame-on restoration in 2011. The car was repainted the original British Green. New seat covers, new carpet, besides that interior is original and excellent. I have the original wood steering wheel that was just restored, it's beautiful with zero cracks or scratches. Matching numbers motor is in the process of being rebuilt now. Will be done next week. Motor is very original with the original intake, heads, exhaust manifolds, carburetors, distributor, brake booster, master cylinder, radiator. Zero aftermarket BS besides a very functional electronic ignition module under original distributor. Brakes and mufflers are new, original radiator being rebuilt now. New front shocks and bushings. New battery, new alternator. Will have more specs on the rebuild soon. All wear items replaced, 11:1 forged pistons, rings, gaskets, complete valve job, new stock cam, machined crank, fully magna fluxed, hot-tanked block. Original date-coded heads redone. New clutch, new water pump. Engine is a complete ground-up rebuild, no expense spared. Original rally wheels restored. New tires. Have original build sheet in good condition, in which you can still see the 047 which corresponds to the last 3 of the VIN. Power steering, power brakes, power windows. 4.11 stock rear-end. For this price I can do all-new front and rear suspension. It's ok but to match the rest of the car's condition would do it soon. Everything works on the car, besides clock. Fiber optics, headlights, tach, wipers, signals, interior lights, etc. For those people who know these cars and see what has been done, this is a steal of a deal.
