Engine removed by a previous owner. Block found on Corvette Forum. Sold before I got there. I got pictures, that's all. It is like finding a needle in a haystack, except I found a PICTURE of the needle in a haystack! |

| Car history: |
NCRS says this car was originally sold by Dick Fenel Chevrolet in Oak Park, IL in November 1967. History is mostly unknown until I bought it in August 2013. It is now painted a pretty good Rally Red. It was in Connecticut when I bought it. The block was found in Rock Island, IL in 2011. Then sold several times ending on the east coast somewhere. Reported to be in a '66 or '67 Chevelle. I am currently restoring my Corvette to street driver condition with a 496 CI BBC and Aluminum heads, and the Tri-Power carbs. Fun project.
Update June 2015 Car is back on the street with all the upgrades, but it looks very stock. |
