| Car history: |
| 1969 Corvette Big Block, matching 427/390HP motor, 4 speed manual transmission. This car runs and drives around the block, but would not be ready for any extended trips. Therefore it would need to trailored upon purchase. It is originally a Tuxedo Black car with Black interior. Has T-Tops, Factory Alarm, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Brakes. I do not know the entire history of this corvette, but I have many new items and additional parts that I will list below that go with this vehicle. The paint is completely faded and will need to be completely redone. The body itself appears to be in pretty good shape as far as I can tell with no major collision damage visible. It has new brakes, calipers and lines. The car stops straight, but the brake pedal is still soft. There have been some new bushings and sway bar links installed on the rear. It also appears to have a new gas tank installed. The wheels are from a early 80's corvette and I do not have the original Ralley Wheels. The Engine starts right up, idles smooth and runs strong. The 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly and clutch has good feel also. The steering wheel is a telescoping/ tilt wheel which is original as well. I have the original 427 hood that will go with the car. In addition, I have new carpet (still in the box), new Center console and E-Brake console cover. The original ones are also included. I have both door panels and Dash panel for the passenger side of the car (in good shape). The Chrome side louver fender inserts are also included. I believe that I have all of them. The headlights do not work, but it appears that they are all there and should function if hooked up. It has a newer exhaust installed. The Driver side floor board will need a little repair. The frame is in very good condition. I do not have the spare tire tub. I also have several trim pieces and misc parts that will go with the car. This car would make a great restoration project or a great driver with a little effort. January 30, 2012. |
