FOR SALE 1968 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE (984) Safari yellow/ Black interior. Originally a 427 / 400 HP Automatic. No engine, still has a transmission. I was going to replace the engine, have not had the time. Previous owner since late 80's original motor was removed many years ago, then replaced with a 350 that has since been removed. Signs of this being a big block car -- 427 big block hood, rear sway bar, heavy duty drive shaft end caps, original big block radiator, 3:08 rear end, single fuel line, 400HP tach. BODY Nice, no hit all original body panels, repainted 15 years ago. All gaps are good, doors open and shut tight. It has a Stress crack between headlamps. INTERIOR. Very nice original interior, nice gauges, drivers seat, carpet and top is showing it's age. The original radio is included. FRAME. Very solid, under side has surface rust dust. Left rear frame rail end cap is flaking. Windshield posts are excellent. CHROME. Driver condition all stainless is nice. No a/c, no power steering or power brakes. This is a nice unmolested 1968 Corvette convertible that has the potential to restore, or put in a motor of your choice and drive. No tank sticker, It has the jack and spare tire. The radiator, fan shroud, alternator, hoses, motor mounts, small box of bolts and nuts are included in the sale. Sold as is. Miles are exempt. Buyer is responsible for shipping, will help load.
