Car history:
Up for auction is a great 1969 Sting Ray Convertible project car, with both hardtop and rag top options. Factory equipped Air Conditioning ( Rare for a rag-top), power steering, Non-original 350 engine, 4 speed manual transmission. The frame and birdcage are in good rust free condition, the nose is a one piece custom replacement, but I do have an all original complete nose, and rear body - as well as an original 427 hood and complete original headlight assembly which will be made available in separate auctions. The car is currently non-operative, missing distributor and carb, but the engine is good, not stuck, turns freely. Assume you will be needing a complete restoration. The car does not have a title, comes with a notarized bill of sale from a licensed Georgia car dealer (previous owner) who purchased it from an insurance auction.
