| I have a very cool 1969 Corvette Stingray with a Lingenfelter 383 stroker engine and a 3 speed automatic. Car was originally a 350 engine. It has a 2000 rpm stall torque converter and shift kit. I believe the horse power is just over 400. This restoration took place in the 90's. I have the original receipt from Lingenfelter for the engine. The engine in the 90's cost around 5k. If you were to buy the same motor today it would cost around 17k. Car Runs out well and I was told around 6k miles since restoration. I have put maybe 500 miles on it since. Since I have owned it I have fixed the headlights so they will go up as well as fixed the wipers. The headlights are however slow to go down on the right side and will need some adjusting. The heater is not hooked up,fuel gauge does not work,hand brake not hooked up and the night dash lights do not work. There will be a few small things to sort but nothing major. Body is very nice but not perfect few blemishes here and there. interior is good. The dash does have a hairline crack and drivers seat has some minor tearing. Tires are near new. Disk brakes all around. This is a t-top and very fun to drive the attention it gets is incredible. I'm selling because I don't have the time to enjoy it with my work schedule. The car is not perfect but it is extremely nice. You will not be disappointed. A few small things here and there and you will have a incredible car. March 10, 2016. |
