| 2) for sale 1969 chevrolet corvette with 350v8 automatic transm, power windows , T-Tops, sidepipes. As I was told from previous owner somebody in early 70-s put aftermarket front end for the car to make it more sporty. The older couple I bought it from Idaho they used to drive it from Idaho to California. I kept it mostly in my garage in Portland Oregon and used it only for sunday drive. It drives excellent without any problem. There is extra electrical wire going to taillights as somehow they were not coming on when you turn the switch. Power windows and lights work. Brakes work as well. Front center has little crack but you can't see it on the pictures. Paint is good and interior is good as well. December 23, 2009. 1) This Corvette is a very desireable project car. It runs good, transmission good. We got this for a car to work on but at our age, we just do not seem to have the time or expertise to do it. We drove it home and has pretty much sit there waiting for us to "get busy". Primarily, there is body work to be done. We were told this was a Maaco type front end. It has never been smoked in, to our knowledge. The tires have many miles left on them, the wire spoke wheels dress up the looks of the car. You see it on jacks because we put in a new transmission shift cable. The stainless steel mufflers lend class and good looks to it. The interior is in good shape. It is only room for two passengers. We have a Cobra but thought this would be something we could lock up, close up and store more easily. We have kept it in a closed garage since getting possession of it. We do not know of any accidents...except the underside of the front has been torn..it is fiberglass. Colors from the owner. 136,032 miles. June 24, 2008. |
