| 1969 Corvette Coupe, Serial # 194379S722076. This car was originally Monaco Orange w/ Std Black vinyl interior. It now has a pretty nice Black paint job. Not perfect, but driver or slightly better. The body is in good shape w/ no major defects other than the LH headlight not fitting right, and the hood doesn't quite fit right either. The hood cable broke 3/4/08, so that's why the hood is not closed in any of the pics. This was originally a small block car, but now has a 454 bored .030 over w/ forged domed pistons, '68 Corvette Square port heads, an LS6 aluminum intake, Holley 780cfm carb and factory '68 exhaust manifolds. This motor is balanced and pushes about 550 HP. The transmission is a Muncie 4 speed and believed to be the original. The rear end has BRUTE STRENGTH stub axles and yokes, and spicer joints. The interior will need some work. Seats look to be original, but need to be recovered. They have rips. The console was cut for shifter clearance. The rear trim panels have speakers in them. Lots of misc parts in there will need to be replaced just from age. The tach is a 6000RPM tach and also has factory speed warning. The frame has been repaired on the LH dogleg ( see pics ) The LH floor is broken too, so it's soft under your feet. The car needs TLC, but is driven daily in the summer. It has current NY registration and inspection. This car has clean NYS Paperwork, which is a transferable registration. NY was not a title state until 1974. Any car prior to that DOES NOT have a title, just the transferable registration. Colors from the trim plate. 95,505 miles. March 5, 2008. |
