2) 350/300 engine, Turbo 400 automatic transmission, telescopic power steering, power brake, AC compressor missing, engine serviced and tuned up, carburetor rebuilt, transmission serviced. This car has the same owner since 1980 and mileage recorded in title was 9541 Miles. Currently it reads 55687 Miles. All the gauges, lights, wipers work. Radio/Stereo works great. There's no leakage of fluid, oil anywhere. Frame and under car are very solid. All 4 tires are new B F Goodrich. This car has 1971 front clip. Last owner told me that it was damaged hitting a Deer. That time his insurance company could find only 1971 factory made front clip to replace it. Interior is in great shape except for rip in the seam of driver seat. September 12, 2008. 1) This car belongs to my wife which she drove up until about 10 years ago at that time it became my hopeful project car. I was involved in a minor accident which did damage the left front. The insurance company would not pay for all the repairs, but would pay for a replacement front end. The only one they could find was a 1970 front end which was put on and I had them repaint the whole car Corvette Red with gold pinstriping. It has been kept inside for the past 30 years while we owned it. The only body defect is the drivers door edge has a nick in it (shown in picture). The paint is in very good condition, the rear chrome bumpers need work. It always ran fine but has not been started for about 3 years. It will turn over but there appears to be an electrical problem. The transmission has a leak (I think it is the pan gasket) - put it up on jacks to work on it but never had (or took) the time. Needs carpet up front, passinger seat needs replacement (I replaced the drivers and I have the replacement for the passenger side which comes with it), center arm rest is busted, door handles stick, has an old set of mag wheels (I have the original rims & radio which come with it), probably needs exhaust work. Hate to part with one but we are moving to Colorado and no place to keep it there. 55,450 miles. February 12, 2008. |
