Car history:
Seven Hills Motorcars is proud to offer this numbers matching 1973 Corvette
Coupe. This car has been driven just under 85,000 miles since new. The black
over 2-tone Dark Saddle and black interior is a very unique, dignified, and
handsome trim combination. This car is numbers matching, meaning that the last
six digits of the vin, 433277, are stamped on the engine pad. This car is in very
presentable condition and is totally useable and drivable.

This car was finished on July 18, 1973. This is verified by the code "L18" on the
trim tag, "L" means July and "18" is the eighteenth day of the month. It is also
confirmed by build sequence, 33,277, placing the car in July of 1973. Stamped on
the engine pad is "V0702CLA." The "V" means the engine was made at the Flint,
MI plant, the "0702" is a date code meaning the engine was completed on July 2,
1973, and the "CLA" is a suffix code meaning that the engine was produced for an
L-48 with an automatic transmission, which is correct for this car. The engine
block casting date is "F 22 3." The means that the block was cast on June 22,
1973. The "L" denotes June, "22" is the twenty-second day of the month, and "3"
is a code for 1973. All of the date codes are correct as they predate the build
date of the car. The engine casting number is 3970010, which is correct for a 1973 L48.

The 1973 Corvette was truly the end of an era. 1973 was the last year to feature
a chrome bumper, it is considered to be the last year of truly classic Corvettes.
Years after were more at the mercy of insurance companies, fuel prices, and
emission concerns, 1973 is considered the last "good" year by many enthusiasts.
As in investment, the 1973 will always have an advantage and out perform other
years because of its precedence as the end of a a very great period for Corvette
and muscle cars as a whole.

As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each
car after careful inspection. Our Corvettes come from owners who expect their
cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as
they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the
car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph
each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your
purchase. If you have a question about the Corvette, just give us a call.
