Offered here is a classic C3 survivor. This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette remains all original from the factory, has just 43,500 original miles, and has all known ownership history. According to the Protect-O-Plate, this car was purchased new from George Matick Chevrolet (still has the original dealer badge on the back) on September 16, 1971 by Percilla Cerion, a local school teacher. Our clients brother purchased the car from her and brought it to California. He then passed and our client inherited the vehicle in 2015. It is now time the car found a new garage. This is a very late 1971 example. The St. Louis factory build date is July 15, 1971 and the 1971 Corvette production ended the very next day: July 16, 1971. From the factory, the car was finished in War Bonnet Yellow (code 989) with matching T-Tops over a Saddle Vinyl (code 417) interior. 14,680 2-Door Corvette Coupes were produced in 1971 and of those 3,706 were finished in War Bonnet Yellow. The paint and interior remain 100-percent original and untouched. As does the powerplant. The car is powered by the original and numbers matching 350ci/270hp V8 with a the original Muncie M20 4-Speed manual gearbox. The car also has the original alternator and carburetor. Other noteworthy factory features include Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Brakes, and Air Conditioning. It is truly a surviving example. All original components, even the glass and seatbelts. The car fires on command, runs strong, and shifts smooth. You will be hard-pressed to find another one this original.
