2) Very nice 72 Vette, last of the front and rear metal bumper Corvettes. Although this car has not experienced a frame off restoration it has had a lot of work performed. As far as drive train, the engine, transmission, carburetor, brake calipers, pads, brake rotors, tires, and many minor components were rebuilt and or replaced and have less than 1,000 miles, the engine has the original number matching block, the matching vin number is on the front pad of the block. The engine is the basic 350, it is not the LT1. The front end and rear tail sections have been replaced with Eckler components. The rare Bryar Blue paint was done with the Dupont system is 6 months old and has been wet sanded and buffed to a very nice deep finish. The interior has received new seats, carpet, and console section. Other items replaced or repaired include all the weatherstrip, emblems, taillights, headlamps, headlight door vacuum seals, wiper door vacuum seals, vacuum valves, etc. Some of the components installed were new in the box or wrapper GM parts, they include front bumper, front bumperettes, A/C Compressor, the original rear bumpers were re-chromed. The car was appraised at $31,700 on November 7, 2008 and it is insured for that amount. From information gathered from the previous owner I believe the 88,500 miles to be accurate, when I purchased the car it still had a 1994 inspection sticker on the windshield. I am sure I have forgot something as the list of work completed is long. Colors from the trim plate. Built date is B22.
