| Car history: |
You are looking at a very original one owner California Corvette roadster. This car has been owned by the same family since new and has always been a Southern California car. This car is showing 80,000 miles and the daughter of the original owner says they are correct. The interior and overall condition of the car lead me to believe they are original. The original numbers matching 350 horse engine was removed several years ago to be rebuilt but was never completed. The engine is out of the car now and needs to be rebuilt and reinstalled. I have gone through all of the parts and the only thing that I can find that is missing is the original valve covers. All of the factory smog stuff is there and the transmission and bellhousing are still in the car.
This is a pretty heavily optioned car including the 350 horse engine, 4 speed, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, tinted glass, louver trim, luggage rack, vinyl hard top, and leather interior. The car has been painted once in its life back to its original white. The body appears to be a "No Hitter" and the frame and undercarriage are just what you would expect a Southern California car to be... beautiful and rust free. It looks like it still has the original gas tank in the car so there is a high probability that the tank sticker is still present. The interior is actually pretty nice considering its original. There are a couple seam splits in the drivers side leather, but overall is very useable.
This is a rare opportunity to find a one family owned, southern California high optioned Corvette convertible. This kind of stuff is getting harder to find all of the time.
