| Car history: |
1) This is a non numbers matching 1969 corvette coupe with T-Tops, a rebuilt 350/350hp engine and a 4 speed manual transmission. The car is equipped with power windows and A/C. The brakes are non power. The previous owner told me that this car was repainted about three years ago. The paint is perfect. The seats, seat foam and front carpet were replaced at that time. The door panels and rear carpet are original but are in great condition. This car also has an extremely clean chassis with no rust. The only issues with the car is the driver's side headlamp is a little lazy so it will need a new actuator. The battery gauge and clock also do not work. The car runs, sounds, drives and looks perfect. Colors from the trim plate. 95,000 miles. January 31, 2008. 2) 1969 Corvette Stingray Coupe. Removable T-Tops and Pop Out Rear Window. Non Matching Numbers 350. Power Steering, Power Windows, A/C. The exterior is finished in glossy green that shows very well. Car was restored about 2 years ago. In my opinion the paint and body are extremely close to show quality. Minor imperfections. During the restoration, the seats had new foam added and were recovered in Saddle Leather. The front carpet was replaced at this time. The door panels and rear carpet are original and show very well. The engine is a non-numbers matching 350 that was rebuilt to 350/350 specs. It runs strong with plenty of power on hand. Tranny is a rebuilt close ratio M21 with a new clutch. Shifts smooth as it should. Rear has 3:55 gears. During the restoration the brakes were converted to SS and the front suspension was replaced. The rear trailing arms were rebuilt and the rear leaf spring was replaced with a fiberglass leaf. The under carriage is clean with no signs of rust. Overall this car is well cared for. It's a pleasure to drive. It runs great and drives tight. There's only about 1,500 miles since the restoration. All systems work correctly except for the drivers headlight door and the battery gauge. I have a brand new actuator and battery gauge. 86,500 miles. May 26, 2008. |
