| Absolutely gorgeous matching # 1969 Corvette that I aquired from a private collector this past January. The previous owner owned it since 1993 and restored the car in 2006. This car has been through a body on restoration and is ready to drive, show, and enjoy. This Vette offers a very clean solid and rust free bird cage and frame. The body is in excellent condition and shows no signs of ever being in trouble and all bonding strips are in place. Paint work is a 9.5 out of 10. It is finished in its correct color of code 986 Cortez Silver with trim code ZQ4 factory correct black vinyl interior. This car has its original matching # 350/350 rebuilt engine mated to a 4 speed transmission. The car runs and sounds great! The car is detailed to show quality. This car's restoration work was done aprox 6 years and it has been stored in a climate controlled facility since its completion. The car was driven very little and still shows great! The interior, all glass, chrome, lights, emblems, bezels etc etc present themselves extremely well. The cars odometer shows 96,000 miles and is believed to be actual mileage. The car has had less than 1,000 miles placed on her since the restoration work was completed. Everything works on the car like it should - wipers, headlights, gauges, turn signals, clock, radio, fiber optics etc. The only things that are not correct on the car are: There is an aftermarket radio which looks good and sounds better than the original. It is placed in an uncut dash. The carb is an Edelbrock (I have the original quadrajet that came with the car). The shifter is a Hurst Super Shifter hooked up to the original trans. Other than that it is a complete numbers matching car. I do have a folder with many receipts from the restoration, engine builder, etc. TRIM TAG READS ... P22 986 ZQ4. 96,000 miles. Motor suffix code reads V1107HW. September 23, 2012. |
