Car history:
This is Butch's 1968 corvette he bought in 1978 he's the second owner. Butch had a stroke few years back and he dont get around as fast as he used to but the man knows cars. He was working on putting a new starter on it when i went and took these pictures. There is nothing wrong with the motor but he has not run it in little over a year. About the car it has a 427 big block with 4 speed tranny and he said it has power and speed but, the winner might have to finish it. This is not the original motor he bought it new years ago and put it in and he said this motor had between 30-40,000 miles on it. The body needs a paint job and on the very back above the left tail lights theres a place were it will have to be fixed but thats the only bad spot i seen in the car beside the paint, i took pictures of it and looks like all the chrome is there. The inside. I never asked him what was up what with the dash so i just took the pictures it will have to be replaced. The seats will need some new leather on them, everything else seem to be ok. The tires look to still have some road miles on them, it has the some old school rims on it. I did not see any rust on the frame or anywhere else looks to be in good shape, all in all it would not take a lot to get the car back on the road and would make a good project for someone just because you have a lot to work with. He said he did not have the hood scoop that goes over the breather. Colors from the trim plate. April 21, 2008.
