| 2) 1968 Corvette Coupe, 454ci, Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission, Recent Restoration. Extremely nice driver quality corvette. Tons of new parts! The car is not perfect, but it is very very nice, and an excellent car for the money. The paint is older but shines very well, there are a few blemishes (see the pictures for better detail). Overall I would rate the paint a 7.5 out of 10. The stainless trim is near perfect condition. The chrome shines very well and is all straight, but it does have some light pitting. The glass is in great condition. The weather stripping is original and still in very good condition. The interior is all new and in great condition. All the interior lights and gauges work properly as well as the clock. The engine bay is in excellent condition and nicely detailed. The frame and birdcage are very nice, free of rust and damage. Everything on the car functions as it should with the exception of the emergence brake and the radio. New in the last 6 months: Complete new interior, Dynamat insulation, Complete new vacuum system, Complete 2.5 Magnaflow Exhaust System, Rebuilt Turbo 400 transmission, New A-arm bushings, New Springs, New starter, New battery, New belts, New hoses, New water pump, New alternator, New tach drive distributor, New plugs, New plug wires, New Rochester Carb, New heater core, New heater control assembly, New gas tank, New brakes. I am the owner and I have the clear IL title in my name. The car is located in Casey, IL 62420. BiN $21,000 but reached $16,100 (RnM) on September 21, 2016. Sold for $18,100 on September 28, 2016. 1) I purchased this car from Texas and brought it to Ohio on 07/10/2011. It will be converted to a complete and professional replica of the L88 Road Race corvettes of the late 1960's. The original small block was lost along the way and now will be the home to an L88 with M22. Owner on July 2011. |
