Car history:
1979 Chevy Corvette. CLASSIC! This is a very nice 79 T-TOP model, which has
had some body modifications. The fenders have extra wide flares, definitely a
bolder look to this classic. Body is solid, but there are sanding scratches over
most of the car. I think a good color sand (wet sand) and polish will make a huge
difference. As is, it looks good from 5 or more ft away, you notice the flaws on
close up. Original Chevy V8 350 engine, miles are original according to last
owner. This vette drives very well and has good acceleration and power; good
response. Brakes are good and transmission shifts fine. Engine area was power
washed and detailed. Headlights pop up and down fine and they have the light
bezels (skirts) as as well. Power windows work fine and I oiled the mechanisms;
Tilt and telescoping steering wheel; Has American Racing Alloy wheels, I polished
them, but could use some more.

INTERIOR: (interior was done last month, so it's like new); the seat were just re-
upholstered and no one has sat in the passenger seat yet.; front carpet and side
console panels are new- with heat shield, shift boot and steering wheel cover are
new; door panels were reconditioned as well; (PLEASE NOTE: some interior
photos have parts of the interior looking a different color (more greenish), but
they are all a uniform tan color) rear carpet/cargo area was shampooed; still has
the original cargo strap, rear speakers work, PANASONIC detachable face CD
player with 4 speakers; cargo area cover "shade" works fine. Wheels have locks
on them, and I do have the key.

Here are the flaws: Driver's door interior has a repair on the top part (barley
visible), and also the handle has a repair kit; A/C switch is not working
(compressor is there with belt); carb could use some tuning up and/or adjusting.
speedometer plastic has cracks, speedometer works but needle "jumps"; power
locks, lock, but needs work to unlock; glove box has a vinyl "bubble" in the
corner; dash top pass. corner has a small piece missing; plastic moulding above
rear view mirror is cracked in the middle; signal light rod/switch is bent, but
work; weatherstripping on doors need replacement, column one also; I have two
center caps on the wheels (driver's side); but they really need a new set; fiber
glass flare on pass. rear side has some cracks (see photo), but not all the way
through; spare tire and cover assembly are missing, as is the jack; front and
side emblem are missing, and placement "holes" have been covered up, I assume
this was all done when fender flares were done and car was painted - (you can
still put them on if you want, and the gas tank lid one is attached); paint is very
nice on the car but there are some minor paint chips and scratches; there is an
area on the nose that was re-painted/repaired; and also a small spot on driver's
side light. (it's hardly noticeable in the photos, but it is there. Comes with the
original Blue/Yellow California plates. Currently on a Non-Op status, so renewal
fees are minimal (under $100).
