| Posted 08/07/2019 1982 Corvette Collector's Edition powered by its numbers matching L83 350 CID V8 Cross Fire Injection engine. It is backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission and a Limited Slip posi rear end with 2.87 gears with 72,919 miles! This was the introduction year of the Cross Fire Injection engine which consists of two throttle bodies combined with a computer command control system which achieved better economy, drivability, and performance. In honor of the last of C3 Corvette body style Chevrolet offered a Collector's Edition 1982. This model differed from the standard 1982 Corvettes with a higher level of standard options along with a lifting rear hatch glass, special wheels styled after the 1967 Corvette aluminum wheels, unique silver beige exterior paint and matching interior, and Collector Edition emblems. This Corvette has been very well maintained and looks almost as nice as it did rolling off the showroom floor. However the car has had a quality repaint & the CE decals left off, the owner liked the look of the car better without the decals. However if desired you can have the decals installed. This classic has had the entire interior gone through replacing the carpet, gauge bezels, shifter plate etc, etc. Also all the weatherstrip & rear hatch struts have been replaced. The car has just been inspected with a clean bill of health and is ready to go! Options on this 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector Edition include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio with Cassette Player, Bronze Glass T-Tops, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Driver's Seat, Power Side Mirrors, Power Antenna, Rear Window Defogger, Telescopic and Tilt Wheel, Gymkhana Perf.
