2) Hot Rod Magazine Feature Car in 2009. Red, 1968 Corvette Convertible, Resto mod, Pro-Touring G Machine, less than 1000 miles since complete body off restoration. Clean rust free frame was blasted and painted. Body was stripped of all paint and painted with PPG epoxy primer and acrylic urethane base clearcoat. Rechromed bumpers, new convertible top and all weatherstripping, Vette Brake Products suspension with tubular A arms, adjustable camber rods, Bilstein shocks, Transverse Fiberglass leaf springs (similar to new vettes) with adjustable ride height. Power Rack and Pinion Steering, Polished stainless tilt column, all new seat padding, covers, door panels, carpet, black interior with custom white faced guages. Leather steering wheel, leather shift knob, 14" Diameter Baer Pro-Plus 6 piston calipers in front, 4 piston rear brakes. 500 hp LS1/LS6 engine, with Lingenfelter CNC ported LS6 Cylinder heads, GM ASA Racing camshaft, GM Racing engine wiring harness and ECU. LS7 flywheel, clutch pressure plate, Be Cool Alum radiator and electric fan, new front and rear wiring harnesses and fiber optics. Stainless steel tailpipes and polished ss mufflers. Kenwood stereo CD. BF Goodrich KDW Tires, 255 front. 275 rear. XXR Rims 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear. Rims are positioned correctly, there is no tire rub while driving. To have a shop duplicate the car is well into 6 figures. $67,000. 97,310 miles. July 2, 2010.
