| 1968 Corvette - 327 CI, 350 HP - NUMBERS MATCHING! A rare find, high performance optional engine (only 9,440 made - VIN # 194378S411915 - please check photos for block/engine numbers), one of 9,936 convertible coupes (t-tops and removable back window ), hard to find 4-speed manual transmission, power steering, power brakes, Soft Ray tinted windows and windshield (only 5,509 produced), custom shoulder belts. This car is a restorer's dream - only 55,000 miles! The car has been garage kept for 15 years but unfortunately it was not started and kept in running condition. The interior is in decent shape and definitely in drivable condition with original tobacco color. The exterior is extremely sound, never wrecked, and the frame has no pitting rust. All original chrome and exterior accessories. The doors close tight. However, as you can see, there has been body work done to the driver's side rear quarter - an unfortunate bump by another car pulling out of the driveway, not a road accident but enough to crack the fiberglass. The engine does need to be rebuilt and has been thoroughly gone over by a corvette mechanic. Head was removed for pictures to give a clear view of cylinders, pistons, and block.
