All chrome and bright work is in excellent shape. This Vette is powered by a 402 Chevy Big Block and Holley single four barrel carburetor. The engine backs to a Muncie M21 close ratio 4 speed manual transmission (#3925660 date coded 1/29/69) recently rebuilt. The car also has the original heavy duty big block FB 411 rear end with sway bar (dated 1/30/69) the car was built in February and sold new April 2, 1969. It is the correct and desirable 976 paint code and ZQ4 trim code. Interior is in great condition showing minimal wear on the black leather seats. Inside other options such as power steering and (6,500 redline tach). Performance items include a new Hurst (factory original look-a-like) shifter, Lakewood bell housing and new clutch, hooker headers and side pipes. January 7, 2012. 1) This Vette is an original 427/435 Tripower car. The 427 was replaced with a Big-Block 1971 Chevy 402 some years back. The exterior is finished in Le Mans Blue and shows well. There are a few paint blemishes, a ding and a chip or two (please see the photos,) but none that would take away from the headturner that this Vette is! Even the undercarriage has been recently professionally cleaned and repainted. The Black interior looks very good and there is no major wear on the seats or carpeting. The Black vinyl convertible top is also in very good condition. The gauges are original and the console is new.
