| 05/25/2014 I first purchased this vehicle in the late 1990's. Since that time I did what every guy would do getting a new toy. I put money in it, lots of it. I had the motor completely rebuilt. Aluminum Rods, roller rockers, blueprinted and balanced. Too much to list. I replaced the interior with better parts. I had the Rear end rebuilt as well as the Transmission. It runs great. Just told my wife I would put it up for sale. If it doesn't sell I get to keep her, so you can imagine how this listing will go. I have a 1970 Corvette with a 350 Cubic engine 4-speed, I first purchased in the late 1990's. The car was sold to me as a LT-1 Corvette but as I looked into this I have decided there was no way to validate so I am selling just as a Corvette base model. Over the years I have put a tremendous amount of money as any guy would do. The entire powertrain was gone through and rebuilt, this includes the engine, transmission and rear end. This was done around 10 years ago and the cars has put on around 3,000 miles in that 10 year period. I also replaced interior parts over the years with better chrome, seat covers etc. The car basically sits in the garage and my wife over the years has told me I should sell it. So heres the deal, I told her I would put it up for sale, if it doesn't sell I keep her. I have no real passion to sell her so its up to you, she won't go cheap either. She is 44 years old and with anything that age you can expect small things to occur. I haven't had any issues with her in years and she is running great. |
