Car history:
OK, I am admitting defeat, I am past the point in my life where I have the time to do a car from the ground up again. I acquired this car a few years back with the intentions of creating a classic street machine/drag car/daily driver, and I have accomplished NOTHING on it in the last couple years outside of acquiring parts and moving it around the garage. I listed this last year and started to get sentimental about it, plus I had lousy offers to trade for junker vettes (done with that), and the high bidder fell thru, so I committed myself to finishing the car this year. So much for that plan...all I have done is move the boxes of parts. This car deserves to be on the road, it is a very low mile low production model (1970 was a strike year, not very many made), I thought I could get it done alone. I just do not have the time anymore to work on things like this, my wife and I are running two businesses and both are doing well so it is time to get practical. On the plus side, most of the hard work on this car is done, the body was painted bright 2000 Millenium Yellow (car was originally red, paint code 974, trim code 400...it was in paint/primer when I acquired it), it has not been wheeled out yet, a few chips and a couple small cracks in paint. There are all new chrome bumpers front and rear and rechrome bumperettes, included and in very good condition are the original side vents, body moldings, trim, complete windshield wiper door assembly, original wiper motor, original glass, including pop put window, t tops, window trim, new weatherstripping, new emblems, most of the side markers and extra taillights, a brand new zero mile exhaust system (2.5" from the header flange back, with new Magnaflow mufflers with new stock stainless outlets), a complete interior with new carpet and new sound deadening, new Grant leather steering wheel, gc stock seats, new belts, new rear compartment frames and trim, etc. The interior is in very good but dusty condition. Tilt/telescope but no horn button, No stock radio, but including a classic Alpine shaft stereo cassette, new floor mats, tons of little extras. Also included, along with all the stock stuff on the car, are boxes of parts with the following (there is a lot more than this) new and clean used parts: new master cylinder, new stainless steel brake lines, new rotors, new KYB Gas shocks, new control arm bushings, new radiator and heater and power steering hoses, both headlight assemblies are complete (I think), painted, and included. Radiator and original shroud and radiator support included, good condition but not perfect. The WHEELS and TIRES shown are NOT INCLUDED. I will provide rollers when the car is ready to go. There is NO ENGINE, NO TRANSMISSION included, this is a ROLLING CHASSIS, being sold as a project and AS IS. The engine shown in the pictures is NOT for sale or included in the listing, it was an attempt to put a 440 horse 383 in the car, but it did not fit under the hood with the nitrous system and I did not want to cut up the car. I will add more to the parts list daily as I uncover more, I am trying to get rid of everything at once, but I will part this car out if I do not get my reserve. I have over 14,000.00 in parts and work in the car, I am not expecting to get that back (I am realistic), but I know I can make about 8500-9000 parting it out (I can detail a list if anyone wants to know). There are more pictures available for serious bidders, I am not wasting my time or yours answering dozens of questions, I will get to the key ones every couple days. If the bidding gets close to what I am looking for, I have a lot of extras available, including a freshly machined 350 4 bolt 1970 block assembly, Weld Pro Star wheels, lots more.

I found a few more things that are going with the car...new tie rod ends, idler arm, ball joints, an extra set of front spindles and hubs, urethane bushings for the strut rods, 3/8 inch aluminum fuel line, new B&M trans cooler, TCI adj. vacuum modulator, polished Summit th400 trans pan, Accel 8mm super stock spiral core wires and stock distributor cap, accel canister coil, a set of Alpine 4x6 coaxial dash speakers, Perma Cool electric fan, chrome flex fan, a box of paints and polishes, I am sure I will find more during the week. (A lot of totes filled with parts...takes a while...). Also, new on the vehicle, the gas tank, sending unit, cap, and all the extras that go with putting the tank in. As for performance stuff, I have a new set of Comp Cams springs, pushrods, some chrome small block pieces, a set of billet style Jasper Racing Engine valve covers...I will add more later. This is all stuff that is INCLUDED in the auction
