| 2) FOR SALE A 1968 CORVETTE 427/400 TRI POWER WITH A 4 SPEED. AS YOU CAN TELL BY THE PICTURES THIS CAR IS IN GREAT CONDITION. AS FOR THE NUMBERS THE BLOCK LOOKS AS IF IT WAS REPLACED, THE HEADS, INTAKE, CARBS ALL ARE CORRECT AND IT APPEARS TO BE A TRUE "M" CAR WITH CALIFORNIA EMISSIONS STILL IN PLACE. MOTOR WAS REBUILT WITH LESS THEN 2,000 MILES ON THE THE REBUILD. DRIVES VERY VERY STRONG. INTERIOR IS IN PERFECT CONDITION WITH NO TEARS OR WORN AREAS. THIS CORVETTE HAS POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES. 81,590 miles from the odometer. October 29, 2009. 1) Beautifully restored 1968 safari yellow convertible. This car has had a recent frame off restoration. It does not have the original block. It has a replacement 1969 block in it. It is set up as a 435 hp tri-power currently, but I have no documentation to prove its authenticity. Everything under the hood is correct for a tri-power car. I was told by the previous owner that it is a true tri-power 435 hp car. He had owned it since 1980. The interior has new seat covers, carpet, and door panels. The top is new. The options include power windows, power steering, power brakes, telescoping wheel, AM/FM radio (original and working). All chrome and trim is nice. The top is also brand new. There is no hard top for it. I don't believe it has a rear sway bar. The red line zone is 5700-7000. 80,500 miles. Colors from the owner. Built date is F15. March 27, 2009. |
