The car was originally ordered in October 1968 and delivered to Mike O'Connor Chevrolet-Buick-GMC in Sadalia, Missouri (184 miles from the St. Louis plant) in December 1968. Two years after acquiring the car in 1987, I experiencing a major engine failure, thus a full body off restoration was commenced in 1989 and completed in 2019.
