| 1) This Corvette represents well the best of the '68 models. An original 427 Corvette with 4 speed and factory AC. The engine is period correct with engine code IL block, the intake #3919852 is rare 3x2 setup with correct Air Cleaner and exhaust manifolds 3880827 & 828 and a Sept '67 build date. Mileage is actual at 44,512. Steering upgrades include a modern BORGESON PS box and IDIDIT 1968 Corvette tilt column, without the key in column, making entry and exit much easier as 1968 Corvettes did not offer tilt column and it looks factory correct. The AC was upgraded with a modern compressor and temperature controlled fan to assure proper cooling. Excellent interior with the correct early door panels and an exterior finish to be proud of on the street or at the show. New conv. top installed and hardtop included. Excellent chrome trim. No evidence of any prior body damage or frame rust. BiN $37,500 (Ended) on January 15, 2018. |
