The original owner kept virtually every document provided at the time of purchase, including form letter from John DeLorean to all new Corvette owners. Original owner also kept a log of all service, maintenance and inspections he had performed on the car, which serves to verify the mileage as accurate. The amount of detail in these original owner documents is remarkable and compliments the patina of this incredible car. Tank sticker is still on tank. Paint is mostly original lacquer, but car has had paintwork on driver-side rear panel as a result of incident in 1970s where original owner fishtailed and hit a fence. Original owner kept the police report from that incident and it is contained in the ring binder on the car with all of the other documents. I have made a concerted effort to keep the car in Survivor/Bow Tie condition since my purchase 14 years ago and have spared no expense in doing so. Interior is original deluxe leather with no cracks or tears in seats, door panels, dash or carpet. Car has original wheels, center caps and rings, along with original Firestone Wide Oval spare.
