| Car history: |
I purchased this vehicle from a Corvette Fiber Glass specialist in Arizona. He has quite a few Corvettes and was willing to let this one go to purchase yet another Corvette. I contracted him to do the body work, but he is to busy with other cars. He got about half way done. This was originally a 427 4-speed car. It was upgraded to a 454 and a M22. The car has not been started for years. It looks like it was parked. The motor is very complete with a Holley Carb. If you like the car you may be able to have the body guy get it to a nice primer stage. I think that 15x 8 front and 15 x 10 rear Corvette rally wheels with primer paint would make this car look great. It comes with a brand new vented fuel tank still in the box. Also the fuel cover. A demonstration of the body guys work can be seen in the before and after T-top and body restoration. I would not sell this car, but I also have to many projects. I have the side exhaust covers, end pieces, and bumpers with a brand new bolt kit plus. I paid 750.00 for the head lights and more for the labor. He has a friend that has the L88 hood for a couple hundred bucks. March 20, 2013. |
