2) 1968 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. Located in Bowie MD, Runs and drives well. Numbers match. 327, 4 speed. All Original interior. Kept in the garage under car cover. Motor Rebuilt 8 months ago by Supercar in Hyattsville Md. Only driven 50 miles since the rebuild. Tuxedo Black color WITH HARD TOP and new Soft top purchased from Ecklers Corvette still in the box! Odometer does not work. Previous owner gave me a statement that it was 30,064 when I purchased it 4/11/12. Sold for $21,300 on September 19, 2016. 1) 1968 Corvette Convertible with vinyl hardtop option. 327 300 hp 4 speed. No ps. or pb. Am/fm stereo vinyl standard interior. This is a block matching vin with the 900 paint code trim tag. The paint is aprox. 20 years old and appears to be a lacquer finish. At some point in its life the body was modified with 69 wheel flares, big block hood. chrome shark fins, side pipe exhaust, and filled in rear valance. Some of the consumable items have been replaced with non original parts, as you will see in the pics. The car drives and runs great, the mileage is unknown the rest of the drive train appears original with the block matching the vin and a muncie 4 speed. The odometer doesn't work, stated mileage is not correct, mileage unknown. The spare tire carrier is included however not mounted on car. The vinyl hardtop is included and in excellent shape no tears or rips. This is a 900 Tuxedo Black paint code, there were only 708 produced in 1968. Also I forgot to mention that the frame and birdcage appear to be solid.... Color codes from the trim plate. Built date is K19. March 31, 2012.
