Car history:
Sold new from Sharpnack Chevrolet, Vermillion Ohio. Original owner (Duane Herchler) was a seasonal worker at the dealership while attending Ohio State. Duane ordered the automatic with the 427/435 L89 because he was tired of constantly having to shift the 4spd Corvettes he had previously owned. Duane fondly remembers the car as terribly fast! This Corvette passed through a number of local owners until purchased by Carl Z. of the Cleveland area about 1994 with the intention of restoring it. The car was purchased unrestored about 2009 by Mike W. and brought to New Hampshire by Mike W. and Kevin Cavanaugh. Car was purchased by Kevin Cavanaugh from Mike W. in 2015 and plans to restore it in the future.
