2) 1968 Corvette Convertible L36 427 CI Big Block 390 HP Matching numbers engine and transmission that the car was made with. Protect O Plate still attached to the original owners manual. 29,000 on the odometer, true mileage unknown. Car is an Original car with a beautiful original color paint job. Paint is fantastic with a 1 inch scratch on the driver's side rear quarter panel. Chrome, emblems and Stainless are original and show a bit of age and patina. Tires are new red line radials (215's) on correct Kelsey Hayes AG 15x7 rims. Interior is original, seat are black and in decent condition, top was recently replaced and is fairly new. Topside of car looks great. The underside and engine compartment are not detailed. The Corvette runs, drives and stops. The Car always starts, the exhaust note sounds great (I have a video that I can share of the car running to hear the note), the car was just aligned and it drives straight. Car is a great cruiser and can be driven all day long. This is a good unmolested original car that has a very nice looking finish. Emissions mechanicals have been removed and are missing. Drivers side hood hinge release under bumpy road conditions and needs adjustment Steering wheel has one crack at 6 O'Clock Front windshield is starting to delaminate on the sides. Gauges Battery and Water temp need to be looked at. Tank maybe in place on the tank's left side (See photo to make your guess), but would be up to new owner to prove out. Low milage well documented real big block convertable. This car is a time capsule with nothing but the carb being rebuilt. All the numbers match, only missing the spare and jack. Everything works except the wipers (I believe it needs a motor). Car has power windows , speed alert, transistorized ignition, does not have air or power steering. The key buzzer still works. The car had some damage at one point to the left front fender (signs of screws or rivets show thru the bonding strip) also at that time it recieved a repaint of its original color. Basically it needs a cosmetic resto and a new top, car runs and drives great. As for the documentation it comes with its protecto plate as well as having its tank sticker still in place. Also I have registrations from the previous owners as well as its orginal owners manual. Under carrige looks like know one ever touched a thing all covers and insulation are still there exquast looks to be original. The milage of 28195 appears to be very correct although I can not verify. 28,195 miles. Colors from the owner. February 16, 2008.
