Car history:
3) Selling my 68 Corvette because I have too many cars and projects and too little time and storage space! The body, paint and interior on this corvette is perfect show quality condition. The frame off restoration was done by Autocraft, a professional restoration company in Kansas City in 2007. The vette has been driven less than 1000 miles since the restoration was done. Features on this beautiful covette includes: This car is an early 1968, VIN number 194678S400321, the 321st C3 built, Unique factory corvette bronze color (looks like shiny copper), 50,466 miles, believed to be original because the car wasn't licensed for a 30 year period, Numbers matching 427 big block, Factory 3 speed automatic TH400 transmission (only 5,063 corvettes with automatics made that year).
During restoration, the very desirable three 2-barrel tri-power carb system was installed. I have original numbers matching intake manifold and 4 barrel carburetor to return car back to original if desired (the tri-power carbs and manifold are worth $3K on ebay). Positraction rearend, 3.36:1 gears. Original color matching hard top in excellent condition, restored with car. new convertible soft top. Black leather seats. power steering, power windows, hidden electric radiator fan added to keep that big block running cool during slow cruises on hot days. The steering wheel was replaced with a better looking, wood inlayed, slightly smaller diameter wheel but the original steering wheel will be included with the car. 50,466 miles. Bid start at $40,000 (RnM). August 6, 2015.
2) 49,667 miles from the odometer. March 21, 2009.
1) 1968 CHEVROLET CORVETTE DUAL TOP CONVERTIBLE 427 V8 TRI-POWER CAR. THIS BEAUTIFUL CAR HAS HAD A COMPLETE BODY OFF RESTORATION WHICH I HAVE A BOOK OF PICTURES OF THE CORVETTE BEING RESTORED, THE CORVETTE HAS GONE THROUGH OVER 500 HOURS OF RESTORATION AND THE RESTORATION WAS DONE AT 49,508 ORIGINAL MILES. THIS BEAUTIFUL CORVETTE CAME OFF THE PRODUCTION LINE #321 IN 1968. THE MOTOR IS A ORIGINAL NUMBERS MATCHING 427 V8 AND TRI-POWER. THE CORVETTE HAS AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, POWER WINDOWS, AND IS ALL ORIGINAL EXCEPT THE UPDATED RADIO. IT WAS ORDERED WITHOUT THE POWER STEERING, AIR CONDITION, AND POWER BRAKES FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE. THE CORVETTE HAS THE HARDTOP AND CONVERTIBLE SOFT TOP WHICH ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE ID TAG INSIDE THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR HAS THE PAINT CODE 992 (CORVETTE BRONZE METALLIC). THIS IS AN AWESOME SHOW QUALITY CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE. Colors from the trim plate. Built date is B13. 49,664 miles. September 9, 2008.
