| 1974 Corvette Stingray Convertable "Splittail" I don't want to sell this car, but things happen. No trades, no silly offers please. Look at the pictures and the details I have listed below. If this isn't the car of your dreams get back in your powder blue Prias. This car runs and handles like a sports car should and constantly draws attention everywhere it goes. Its not perfect or I would be asking $50,000 for it, but the details needing work are all minor and mostly easy to fix. I have original window sticker, owners manual, repair manual for car. BODY: Maroon - gold metal flake added to paint. There are a couple of small 'pimples' in paint, otherwise body and paint are near perfection. Even with 'pimples' this car has won numerous car shows. New top added two years ago. INTERIOR: Black original - this car has been in museum or garaged by all three owners. Interior is extremely clean. Stock AM/FM radio still works, new AM/FM/CD added for better quality without damage to interior, remote on inside of steering wheel. All dash components work except tachometer (needs new worm on distributor). Power windows, tilt steering, power door locks, factory AC. Only thing that has been replaced on the interior is the cigarette lighter. MOTOR: Matching numbers 350 ci and automatic transmission, 53,000 original miles. Chrome componants added for looks include Edelbrock intake manifold, Edelbrock carb, alternator, electronic distributor and coil, air breather, and lifter covers. TIRES: NITTO NT 450 255/50r17 Extreme Performance tires mounted on Crager wheels, less than 1,000 miles. EXHUAST: New Flowmaster exhaust added last year. SECURITY SYSTEM: Factory security system installed and operational. THINGS WRONG WITH CAR THAT I'M AWARE OF: Light switch broken (I have replacement) but still works. Light seepage of water onto intake manifold. (was told it needed a sealant put on bolt) Tach as discussed above. Normal Chevrolet oil drip from oil pan, about 1/2 quart a year |
