1969 Chevrolet Corvette, 4-sp manual, 350, numbers matching This is a numbers matching 1969 Chevrolet Corvette factory 4-sp manual 350 V8 with T-tops. Car was equipped with factory AC new but it has been fully removed. The engine is the original numbers matching engine and the engine has had a custom cam and aluminum heads installed by last owner. I received the car needing exhaust and installed new Magnaflow mufflers and tailpipes. It sounds great! This car comes from Virginia. In Virginia due to the year the miles are considered exempt although the miles count correctly on the odometer and the Va title in hand is marked correctly matching the vehicle. So I am forced to call this vehicle exempt although miles appear to be true. The exterior is the Correct Daytona yellow and was repainted some time ago and looks beautiful. Their are some small blemishes in a few locations but overall it looks beautiful. This Corvette is a bit nicer than just calling it a driver, but it is not a concourse show car. I have the original factory rally wheel center caps but prefer the 3 spoke red center caps I have on it now. The tires are brand new. The T-tops work fine and do not leak. The chrome bumpers look great and shine. I have been battling an issue with the windshield wiper door's vacuum. I also replaced the wiper motor not knowing that wasn't the issue. The wiper door vent opens when I start the car and I think there might be a blown fuse. I cannot figure out the issue and winning bidder will have to figure this one out on their own. The factory Delco AM/FM radio is in place but doesn't turn on. It may just need to be hooked up because their is an additional dash kit and aftermarket CD player in cargo area. Overall this Vette's exterior is very clean and presentable. I have been bringing this car to car shows all summer. Next the interior. From top to bottom the interior is all original. The seats are clean as well as headliner and carpet. The power windows both work but are occasionally picky. The radio is original but isn't working right now. The blinkers, headlights, etc.. all operate properly. The dash has no cracks and overall the interior is in very above average condition. I would overall call this Vette as whole an above average condition car that runs and drives great!
