Car history:
I am the third owner of this 1979 white T Top Corvette. I purchased this vehicle from a Corvette dealer back in January 1997 with the intent of restoring back to its original condition. When purchased, the vehicle had 56,574 original miles and within the 13 years of owning this car, I have accumalated another 1,426 miles on the car for a grand total of approximately 58,000 miles. Although I enjoyed having the car, I don't have the time to restore it so I've decided to sell it to someone who can give it some TLC. This car has been garage kepted the entire time and the body is in great condition however it does need a new paint job and some minor touch ups. As stated, this is a T Top, 350 motor, automatic transmission, red leather interior, a/c (needs coolant), car alarm, am/fm stereo (not original), power locks, tilt/telescopic power steering, power windows, and removable roof panel. While in my possession I have had a new exhaust system installed, new brakes, new water pump, new battery, carburetor adjusted and other minor things to keep the car running smooth. It has been maintained yearly, with all repair, maintenance receipts, by Corvette Performance in Maryland. Passed all state emission inspections. All numbers match, nothing has been rebuilt. The interior is original and in excellent condition as you can see by the pics. The frame and windshield posts are very clean and there is no RUST. With the intention of restoring this car, I've also purchased the following items as New, NOS (New Old Stock), Used or Reproduction. These items are included in the price of the car and consist of the following; New Leather Seats and Door Panels produced by Al Knoch, NOS Emblems, Lights, Door Handles (Installed on Car), Used AM/FM Stereo from a 79 vette, Reproduction Used Alloy Wheels and Owner's Manual. (These items alone are worth approximately $3,000) PLEASE NOTE: These items have not been installed on the car with the exception of the Door Handles. This vehicle is being sold "AS IS" and has not been MD inspected.
