An all original 1982 Corvette. The last of the C3 Corvettes. The only fuel injected C3. This car has been perfectly stored and preserved. As you can tell by the condition of the chasis, the car has never been dirty. The original shim counts are still in the fenderwell in yellow marker. The original paint dobs (blue and orange) are still on the front suspension. The car comes with window sticker and build sheet. I also have the original date coded tires (Goodyear) on the original wheels. Check out the build date in yellow stencil on the frame!! Yes!, that IS the original paint!! The interior is also ALL original with NO fading or discoloration of the carpet as you would see on a car that had spent time in the sun. All guages work perfectly as does the clock and stereo. I stored the car for 6 years before sending it to a restoration shop to be gone through. All low mileage 30+ yr vehicles must have this done before you can confidently drive it anywhere you would like. This means replacing and inspecting all rubber hoses, grommets, bushings, seals, gaskets, and body mounts. The entire original brake system has been rebuilt as well. The restorer went to great lengths to keep this car original so we replaced as little as possible, rebuilt what we could at a much higher expense than just garage repair. The air conditioning works flawlessly as do all systems on this car. This car is ready to be performance verified and judged at any local or national NCRS event! The expense to bring this car up to this level was right at 12K and I will provide you with the documentation for that as well. All work was completed in April of this year (2013) and 150+ miles have been driven the time of this posting. The paint, interior, engine compartment, and chasis needed little to no detail work. We did not want to cover up the story of a survivor. Everything including all options on this car operate as new. I do not believe you will find a better 1982 Corvette. |
