2) This Corvette is believed to have only 61,000 original miles, and has received one high quality repaint since new. This car was obviously loved, and well taken care of. The entire body was stripped and re-painted to its original color of Ontario Orange. The paint looks amazing as well as all the chrome. This was done professionally, and looks like it! The door gaps are just like factory, and the headlights open and close perfectly. The car is now featuring a correct LT-1 hood. The original L48 hood also comes with the car. The interior was refreshed where necessary, but still retains some of the original parts. The seats were reupholstered and are extremely comfortable. All the interior trim is very nice, and has worn extremely well since the work was done. All the gauges work properly as well as the wiper door! The car currently has an aftermarket CD player, but the original radio comes with the car. Also included with the car is the original shifter. The original numbers matching 350 L48 engine was completely rebuilt with a mild cam to increase performance, and runs perfectly. It starts right up, idles smoothly and pulls hard when you step on the accelerator. There has been some minor brightwork added to the engine compartment, and I also have all the original parts for the engine. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts perfectly in and out of gears without grinding or popping out of gear. This was also completely rebuilt during the restoration to provide years of enjoyment without having to worry about a thing! Transferred to an original rear end with a 3:36 gear ratio. Finished off with a beautiful set of Chevy Rally wheels and new Firestone Indy 500 Firehawk tires. This is a 2-top Vette. The black convertible top is free of rips, and looks amazing. This car also comes with a hardtop that fits perfectly! The early C3 Corvettes are some of the most comfortable Vettes ever, and are really starting to take off in price.
