| Car was pulled before it was "built". Chev. Engineering changed the car. I have the build sheet. It was suppose to be a Bryar blue color car also with other options. This was an early production car. The engine code is VO813CKY indicates an LT-1 350 cubic inch V8. I have docs from Chevrolet/Central Office acknowledging this. Also microfilm copies of change request for the LT-1 options. Zora Duntov "request" on file and documented. Thanks. The Vette was used by Chief Engineer Zora Arkus Duntov to test the effiency of air conditioning with the LT-1 engine option, the air cleaner still bares his treasured Duntov signature. Invited to the "Bloomington Gold Special Edition" and Awarded NCRS Second Flight Certification. Appeared in several magazine articles, 2 times in Corvette Magazine. Appeared in the movie Apollo 13 starring Tom Hanks. In addition to factory Air conditioning, this special LT-1 has a 4-speed manual transmission, black interior, power steering brakes and windows, Rally wheels and bias plys.
