For sale is a very nice '82 Corvette. Rare silver green color (723 made) with silver green interior. Car runs, drives, steers, and stops excellent. Ice cold air conditioning. Car has not been modified in any way. Everything works as it should except for 2 minor items I will list below. The following work has been done in the last 30 days: New front carpet and mats. New steering wheel. New rear storage compartment lid assemblies and carpet. Complete new stainless exhaust system from manifolds back. (stock system with converter) 4 new BFG TA Radial tires. The bottom of the car was steam cleaned while up on the rack. No rust issues with the frame - just the typical surface rust. The turn signals work ok, but must be manually cancelled (the plastic cam probably broke off of the turn signal switch after 31 years). The radio tuner knob skips some stations when rotated - (seek/scan works fine) and radio/cassette deck/automatic antenna work fine. No leaks anywhere. The interior is excellent. The paint is in good ORIGINAL condition - no cracks, bubbles or body damage, but it does have some fading, and numerous small knicks/scratches, as well as some defects here and there in the clear coat. All of the original bonding strips appear to be unmolested. All in all, a nice driver quality paint job. The good news is that although far from perfect, it is ORIGINAL, and has never had a CRAPPY paint job put on it that would have to be stripped. You can enjoy this car as is now, and have a quality repaint done later, and you would have a top notch vette in a rare, beautiful color for not a ton of money. Current paint would not need to be stripped. Selling because I just have too many cars, including a '68 vette project.
Selling with NO RESERVE above the starting price. Starting bid: US $8,200.00 Please do not bid if you do not have the funds in hand. Happy to answer questions. Price: US $9,000.00 eBay Item number: 261069612024 |
