| This is a rare Barn find indeed. This is an original 1969 Corvette L-71 427/435 HP Transistor Ignition car that has been part of the same collection since 1975. This car was just pulled from the Richard Bonati Collection. Richard has signed a notarized affidavit stating that he has held this car in his private collection from 1975-2015. That is exactly 40 years of ownership. It also states that this car is in fact a true 427/435 HP from new. The mileage of 52,584 is in fact the actual miles to the vehicle. Rich has known this car personally since it was new. The Corvette was purchased new at Peter J. Grady of Sayville, NY 11782. The motor was a warranty replacement in 1969. Two weeks after the delivery of the car, the motor was replaced. The car has been a part of his collection in its unrestored state and is ready for the next step. Since CMC has taken possession of the the car, the car is in running condition and brakes have been gone over. A new convertible top is included with the sale. In this day and age, this is a rare opportunity to buy an original L-71 435HP car in its original state. The car has the original color codes. The transistor Ignition is still in the car and is in working order. All of the glass is original. The underside is clean and has original fiberglass floors. The underside has never been spray painted. The chassis is solid and will clean up great.
