| 2) This car is a rare find. This is a 1969 Big Block Convertible with a 4 speed. It also has power brakes, power steering, high back seats and more! Orginally this car had a 427 with Air Conditioning. At some point, the engine was changed to a high performance 454. Frame is in great condition, and car looks and drives great!! A few stress cracks that I tried to include in the pictures. Exterior: Very Good Condition. Repaint is about 4 years old. Nothing major, just a few fiber glass stress cracks. Car is always garage and shines very well. Light pop up as they should. Convertible top is brand new and I restored the convertible top frame at the same time. Color Matches trim plate (986) as Cortez Silver. Rallye wheels are in good condition with good rubber. The car has a full lenght L-88 Hood that eliminates the vacum door for the windshield wipers. Interior: Fair Condition. Black Interior Matches trim plate as (ZQ4) Black. Needs some work and I don't think it has ever been restored. This would be my next project if I decided to keep the car. Radio has been replaced with a digital style radio with a CD playing in the back. I know the radio works, but I'm not sure about the CD player. The center console is loose as well as the driver seat. The gauges work except for the clock and fiber optics. The car was an orginal A/C car, but both the heat and A/C do not work. The door lock knobs are missing. The grab handle on the passenger door is broken... Most of the interior lights work. Motor. Very Good Condition. Runs very strong with about 500hp. This is what I know about the engine. It is a Chevy 454 - Makes Approx 500 HP, Edelbrock Performer Alum Heads, Edelbrock Air Gap Intake, Quci Fuel Q-750 Carburator, Accel Distributor with Tach Drive, this motor has a edelbrock performer rpm package here are the cam specs. 560'' Intake/.573'' Exhaust MISC. New Wires, New Starter, New Battery. Steering box has been replaced. The exhaust system is about 2 years old and is stainless steel. Brake lines have also been replaced with stainless steel. Bushings/Brakes is very good condition. No- Tire Kickers Please. Price is firm. I have put alot into this car and they are hard to find in this condition. August 31, 2010. 1) 1969 convertible corvette, 427-390, 4 speed a/c car, body is in great shape, the car has a 1969 engine 435 hp. car comes with a hard top and a soft top brand new in a box. Soft top frame is in excellent condition, and also the frame is rust free. Paint is in excellent condition except from the front bumper corner that it has a crack. Car is missing the ac compressor, ac. hoses and ac. condensor. 38,000 miles. June 23, 2009. |
