| 1969 CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY NO RESERVE! 350 CID V8 - 300HP. FACTORY 3 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. DUAL EXHAUST. RALLY WHEELS. CALIFORNIA TITLE. NEW SEATS - NEW CARPET - NEW DASH. OFFERED NO RESERVE FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTION OF DESIRABLE COLLECTOR CLASSICS - THEY WON'T LAST LONG. LOCATED IN BEAUTIFUL PALM SPRING CALIFORNIA. The C3 1969 Corvettes are still considered to be the most desirable in the market place, the Stingray is an incredibly beautiful design...the Corvette C3 was patterned after the Mako Shark II designed by Larry Shinoda. Executed under Bill Mitchells direction, the Mako II had been initiated in early 1964. Once the mid-engined format was abandoned the Shinoda/Mitchell car was sent to Chevrolet Styling under David Holls, where Harry Haga's studio adapted it for production on the existing Sting Ray chassis. The resulting lower half of the car was much like the Mako II, except for the softer contours. The concept car's name was later changed to Manta Ray. The C3 also adopted the sugar scoop roof treatment with vertical back window from the mid-engined concept models designed by the Duntov group. What a cool Vette Coupe! This car performs well and is very quick and powerful...it shifts nicely with power to spare. The Vette has underwent some restoration along the way, the paint is in good shape, not show quality of course but has a good shine with straight panels and nice seam fit along the doors, headlight buckets, and hood. The interior has been partially restored, new seats, carpet and dash, the rest of the interior is original. 350 - 300 HP V8 CID, 3 Speed Automatic Transmission, Power BrakesNew Seats, New Carpet, Corvette Rally Wheels. Over all the Vette is in good shape. Hope in and go and enjoy this car, mechanically the engine seems sound and runs out very well. The engine is in good order with nice detail under the hood. The interior is a nice combination of restored and original, the dash pad has been replaced but the other dash components including shifter are all original showing wear from over the years. The exterior paint is in good shape and has a nice shine, not perfect and has some flaws and small blemishes in the finish but a nice 10 footer with nice straight panels. The front bumper is new, the back split bumper is original and shows wear as you can see by the photos. All the trim is in place and in tact. T Tops fit well and secure, all the weather stripping is original. This is a nice driver, enjoy as is or take it to the next level. 26,038 miles from the odometer. Color codes from the odometer.
