Car history:
Corvette Coupe 1981
It is a very nice, ORIGINAL, unmolested car that would be great for a first Corvette or a family
project. It appears to have an un-hit body, save for the quarter panel, for which I have a nice
used one. It is a two tone, full option car, showing 97,000 miles, which I believe to be true. The
windows and locks are DOA, and I do not know about the cruise, air, radio, etc, as these items
are complete and would need to be gone through anyway. Minor tasks for my abilities. The car
appears to have been garaged most of it's life, as the lenses are clear and crisp, the bumpers
very nice and pliable, and the wheels are in VERY nice condition showing no curb rash, just a
slight edge from where the tires have been mounted. The car has been repainted over the original
paint, a very big plus if you are familiar with Corvettes: meaning a novice or same sort never
attacked it with a machine. The glass tops are nice, not perfect, and do not appear to have any
cracks. The jack and I believe the spare are still there. Most guys rob these things when they
sell a car, so beware if you look at others. Also included is a Dealer brochure and Owner's Manual.
The exhaust from the cat-back is also MIA. The car runs very well, starts right up, no noises,
smoking or the like. The transmission seems to be in good working order as well. The car is
really too nice to use as a parts car or cut up. Like I said, it is original as in no one has taken it
apart.

I bought the car from a client of a mechanic I know. When the tire blew, she did not want to put
any more money into the car. The car suffered no damage other than the 1/4 panel.

I must note I have not tried the headlights either, but did notice a hose that had been plugged.

Again, minor things, and if this is your first Corvette, it is a great way to learn about the design
and engineering that went into them. If you are familiar with GM products, you will see they are
not as scary to work on/maintain as you've heard.

The title is clear and in my name, and is registered in Maryland, although the car appears to have
come from the mid-west, another plus. I have too much going on, and do not see myself completing
this car, thus it is for sale.

The '81 is a candidate to be a weekend project, meaning you can drive it a bit as you work on it.
It is that nice and complete. Original paint/un-hit cars are becoming very scarce. The interior
pictures did not upload, but it will need attention, carpet, covers, wheel skinned. I will try to get
interior pictures on soon.

Thank you.
